Life at SBS

Our Stories

Balancing Work and a Passion for Travel
“SBS Forestry has a great working atmosphere. The flexible schedule has allowed me to pursue my passion of travelling the world for months at a time. The work we do provides an important foundation for an understanding of the practice of professional forestry and offers a nice balance of office and field time.”
– Neal
Grow with Our Group of Companies
SBS Forestry’s majority shareholder is Sasuchan Development Corporation, the economic development arm of Takla Nation. The partnership has created exciting opportunities for our team members to grow within the group of companies. Just ask Chelsey! When Chelsey joined SBS, she had a basic understanding of forestry. After four years of working in various positions in SBS Forestry, Chelsey has now taken a role as a project coordinator role with Sasuchan.
When work feels more like an adventure
“SBS truly offers a safe and friendly work environment. You get to see some awesome places that the average person would never see, and you can experience it from a helicopter, too! You can also learn how to operate different machinery such as quads, snowmobiles and chainsaws.”
