The Forestry Supervisor executes the completion of all multiphase timber development field activities safely, accurately, and efficiently and mentors Crew Leaders. The Forestry Supervisor must show intermediate understanding of all multiphase timber development tasks, equipment, tools and uses, land navigation, data collection. They must also be able to train beginner/intermediate level tasks.
This position is responsible for assisting and mentoring the crew leader in managing and organizing the field crew’s daily tasks, providing direction, achieving productivity targets, and ensuring a safe work environment. The role is a mix of field and office work.
