The Forestry Technician (Crew Leader) executes the completion of all multiphase timber development field activities safely, accurately, and efficiently. The Forestry Technician must show intermediate understanding of all multiphase timber development tasks, equipment, tools and uses, land navigation, data collection, and can train beginner/intermediate level tasks. When assigned as a Crew Leader you will be responsible for managing the field crew’s daily tasks, providing direction, achieving productivity targets, and ensuring a safe work environment.
